I use ATMs, even if there is a small fee, and do all my physical buying with cash, pay cash at post office for some bills, and there are visa/mastercard “gift cards” one can buy at a supermarket/whatever, and online purchases can be made with these. If you buy them with cash, you should be anonymous. I have been told this, but not yet tried it.
